What does our software do?

Main Duties

  • Monitor and supervise day-to-day activities of Tractor Operators to ensure adherence to project guidelines and standards.
  • Track fuel usage, oversee timely refilling, and monitor maintenance of tractors and equipment to prevent misuse or downtime.
  • Collect and submit accurate, timely reports on tractor utilization, field activities, and productivity to the Project Team.
  • Assist in collecting payments for tractor services, maintain proper documentation, and reconcile revenue with the Finance unit.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with project policies to prevent errors, fraud, or inconsistencies.
  • Gather relevant data on field progress and farmer feedback to support monitoring and decision-making.
  • Address operational challenges or disputes between Tractor Operators and farmers promptly and escalate unresolved issues to the Project Team.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance to Tractor Operators on best practices, safety procedures, and project protocols.
  • Assist the Project Team in evaluating Tractor Operators’ performance through observation, reporting, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualification/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in agricultural operations, mechanization services, or field supervision
  • Experience supervising field teams or equipment operators is required.
  • Experience in tractor operations or fleet coordination
  • Strong understanding of tractor operations and basic maintenance practices
  • Knowledge of fuel tracking and equipment management systems
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, or mobile data collection tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management ability.
  • Strong sense of integrity and accountability.
  • Willingness to work extensively in field environments
  • Ability to travel frequently across operational areas.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class E)
  • Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage
  • Ability to work in a predominantly field-based role in rural/agricultural environments
  • Ability to work extended periods outdoors and travel between locations
  • Ability to work irregular working hours during peak farming seasons
