What does our software do?

Main Duties

Oversee the daily operations of company-owned vehicles and machinery including pick-up vehicles, cargo trucks, tractors, farm equipment, and motorbikes.
Coordinate and schedule vehicles digitally for commodity aggregation, haulage, staff field trips, guest transportation, and mechanization services.
Use digital fleet management tools to monitor fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance schedules, operational costs, and asset tracking.
Ensure all fleet assets are digitally tracked, roadworthy, insured, licensed, compliant with regulatory requirements, and maintained according to safety standards.
Lead commodity transportation operations, including route planning, dispatch scheduling, load optimization, and delivery coordination.
Build and manage relationships with transport vendors, mechanics, fuel suppliers, and third-party transport providers.
Identify and implement revenue generation opportunities for company-owned trucks and transport operations.
Supervise drivers, tractor operators, and transport teams while enforcing safety standards, transport policies, and operational discipline.
Develop and improve operational systems, SOPs, and controls to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Support strategic decisions relating to fleet expansion, mechanization deployment, asset replacement, and operational improvement initiatives.

Qualification/Requirements

Master’s Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in fleet management, agribusiness logistics, international trade, rural operations, or related areas.
At least two (2) years of managerial or supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck operations, tractor mechanization, commodity aggregation, and agricultural value chains.
Strong leadership and people management skills with experience supervising field-based teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and commercial transport management skills.
Proficiency in fleet management systems and advanced Google Workspace skills, especially Google Sheets.
Strong technical understanding of vehicles, agricultural machinery, and maintenance operations.
Ability to introduce structure, improve processes, and perform effectively in fast-paced rural operational environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
